Can I keep my company books in English?

Short answer

Statutory accounts filed in Thailand are prepared in Thai. Management reporting can be in any language, but the filed statutory set and supporting documents follow the Thai requirements.

In practice most foreign-owned companies run a bilingual chart of accounts so management reporting and the statutory set reconcile line by line.

Source documents in a foreign language may need translation if requested during an audit or a Revenue Department enquiry.
